XLSTAT-Pro is Addinsoft's core software. It is a Microsoft Excel statistical add-in that has been developed since 1993 to enhance the analytical capabilities of Excel. XLSTAT-Pro includes a wide range of analytical functions covering the key requirements for data analysis and statistics.

-Exploratory factor analysis (or EFA) is a method which reveals the possible existence of underlying factors which give an overview of the information contained in a very large number of measured variables. The structure linking factors to variables is initially unknown and only the number of factors may be assumed.

-Fitting a distribution to a data sample consists, once the type of distribution has been chosen, in estimating the parameters of the distribution so that the sample is the most likely possible (as regards the maximum likelihood) or that at least certain statistics of the sample (mean, variance for example) correspond as closely as possible to those of the distribution.

-Any table or chart generated in Microsoft Excel either by XLSTAT or the user can be easily exported to a GIF, JPG, PGN or TIFF file.
